On this day, we wished Janet a Happy Birthday in Heavan. She is traveling on the front dash with us. We are still parked in North Pole, AK.
Today was a do your own thing kind of day. They say having an RV and traveling allows you to fix things on your rig in exotic places.
Judi and I pulled out the washing machine with the quest to fix the machine to be able to use it and not flood the closet and storage bay under the washer. We are getting really good at pulling that beast out of tight places. FYI: You have to remove the wood trim around it after removing the door. Then you have to pull it out on an angle, NOT straight out. You also must eat your Wheaties! Then when you want to put it back in place, you let your sister get down really low into a wall squat and start pushing.
So we might have a few dents in the front panel, but that does not affect the working of the machine.
If you wanted to know, we have to get a new drain hose. The original hose was sliced when the drum fell off inside. There are not any real RV supply stores in the area and Lowe’s or Home Depot do not carry what we need.
Stay tuned for more adventures…
