July 20 – Valdez, AK
Breakfast and Dawson, while in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan we stopped and purchased jam from The Jam Lady. The Raspberry Rhubarb was delicious. Dawson had to try some on his toast, or maybe straight from the jar.
We adventured back out to the hatchery, but we had a group following us to see where to look for bears. We did not see any on this trip, it was to early in the day even though the tide was out. That was ok, because I got to see my favorite sea lions during the day. We even had one at the hatchery that put himself on display.
I may have stolen a video from our friend Marjorie who caught one of the two bear cubs getting a salmon and running back towards mom and sibling with his great catch! Thanks Marjorie for sharing!
