We left Marquette and took a short drive over to Hancock, MI. Another area I have never been. We explored the Keweenaw Peninsula using our GuideAlong app. First stop was Quincy Mine. Our second stop was back to Tatanka to retrieve my purse!

Snowfall Thermometer
Along the path, we found a “Snow Theremometer” where they keep the total accumulated snowfall for the year. Last year they accumulated 30 feet! I but you don’t want to see that in Florida.

Back on our tour, we stopped at a few waterfalls, found a cool bridge the support arch has at least 40 layers.

Up to Brockway Mountain where we found a lady watching in her binoculars and counting birds… 🦅 actually Raptors. One flew very near at the time

The to Copper Harbor where Winnie went for a dip in the water. She got a little deeper than I wanted, but the stones allowed her feet to sink unexpectedly.

We started several years ago chasing Lighthouses on Lake Michigan, Lake Superior and Lake Huron. It is only appropriate that we keep the Lighthouses on our trips. This lighthouse can be found at Eagle Harbor.
The biggest bust of our day trip was looking for the ghost town.
Last stop was a midday lunch/dinner at 4 Suns Fish & Chips where we ate whitefish. If was very good, just the perfect breading. Not greasy.
Stay Tuned for Day 5… and many more!
