Whitehorse, YT – July 27 ~ Nugget City, YT – July 28 ~ Dease Lake, BC – July 29

The next few days (Day 57, 58, and 59 / Caravan Days 40, 41, 42) are all travel days.  (Yes, I am doing this 3 days all in one post.)

First stop is Whitehorse, YT at 255 miles from Haines, AK.

Second stop is Nugget City, YT at 245 miles from Whitehorse.

Third stop is Dease Lake, YT at 147 miles from Nugget City.

We have been to Whitehorse once already, this time we are a one night stay with nothing big planned. We are staying at a different campground, Caribou RV Park. This one is located about 10 miles out of town.

Next up is day 58, where we are staying at Baby Nugget RV Park which is owned and run by a young family. They have a bakery and restaurant. They have made us a homemade spaghetti dinner with salad, bread and dessert. Our meal was very good. After dinner, the pups got to go for a walk around the campground and then we hung outside with friends.

Day 59 is at Brown Bird RV.  On our way to Dease Lake, we stopped at Jade City which is a way overpriced location that sells all things made of jade. If we should our name badges, we could get a discount! As one of our fellow caravaners said, they marked it up 50% first! Judi and I looked, Winnie walked along with us and then we loaded back up in the rig to carry one down the road to our campground for the night.
