Day 11 – We leave OLEO Acres and head to Chinook, MT. Our drive to Chinook was not fun by any stretch of the imagination, the WIND was absolutely terrible. We had both cross winds and head winds pretty much the entire time. The road construction was the least of our concerns.

We are staying overnight at Purely Goatique which is a small farm who is a member of Harvest Hosts. Harvest Host is a membership we have for one night stays at a variety of places such as personal homes, brewery’s, museums, golf courses, etc that allow one night stays at their property with the intent that you support them by making a purchase from their small business. Our hosts for the night were great, they have a small farm of goats, cows, and chickens. Judi was able to get some goat soaps and lotions that they make to sell. We will be staying here again on our way back home in August. They plan to have milk and cheese available in August.
