Day 20 of our Alaska journey, which is day 3 of our RV Caravan, we are leaving Dawson Creek, BC and headed to Fort Nelson, BC. This is just a quick one night stay on our way to bigger things. The mosquitoes have found us. We also are staying at campgrounds that are not our normal “Glamping” sites! They keep reminding us that we are in the last frontier area. The sites are reach out and touch your neighbors kind of places, you are lucky when you have grass in the campground.

I love how they create some of the road signs here in Canada, I just have a couple of pictures of those signs. It can be interesting to figure out what some signs mean when you see them.

At Fort Nelson, they had a bear trap setup to catch a black bear that was hanging out at the campground. That green barrel was the trap. They did successfully catch the bear and took him or her off to a new location later the night of our arrival. This campground was just a one night stay.
