Today, we are in Dawson City, YT we arrived on day 26. While I previously posted about day 26 in another post, I only provided two photos. I want to share a few more pictures from our travel to Dawson City.
I also have some of our adventures for day 27, which started with a tour of the old west. We had a guide that dressed the part of the old days. This was a walking tour where some of the facilities have been preserved such as the bank, post office, and more. Let me just say, I cannot imagine living in this town now or back in the day. How would Amazon ever find me? How long would it take to get packages delivered. Yes, I am hooked on Amazon Shopping as well as the big box stores we all take for granted.

During our tour, I found Judi’s street sign “Princess”!
Judi and I also took time out to visit their farmers market. We found a loaf of homemade cinnamon raisin bread. We made toast and French toast out of the loaf.
We also drove to the top of the mountain where you could look down on the town and campground. We came at the right time as we got to watch a gentleman get ready to fly away in his paraglider from the top of he mountain to the other side of the Yukon River.
In the evening, we had show at Diamond Tooth Girtie’s, it was a great show with very talented locals both signing, dancing, and playing the drums and piano. The show was about the old days with the house of lady’s!
Stay tuned for more adventures…
