Day 14, we are still exploring Banff National Park, we had to drive some of the same roads as day 13. Our intention was to go to the Columbia Icefield, we did not get that far as it took longer than we expected and we needed to get gas for the car.

We did however find more beautiful mountains and lakes. One of our stops was at Bow Lake where the water was that beautiful blue/green color. The other lake we found was Peyto Lake, this also was a beautiful lake surrounded by the mountains. We made a new boyfriend at Peyto Lake based Bill Peyto whom the lake is named.

We reached an elevation of 6,755 feet as we drove. In a few of my photos, I zoomed in on the snow and you can see how it is splitting apart on the mountain side, it may at some point become an avalanche.
