On this day, we travel from Watson Lake, YT to Whitehorse, YT. Travel distance is 266 Miles which they say in our book is 6 Hours! Why 6 hours? Well, you are traveling in a large rig towing a car and you are going up and down in the mountains with twisting roads, over bridges and some are very narrow. Also on your way, there are several pullouts with beautiful views of the area. Some pullouts were once great views but the trees have grown enough to not be able to see a single thing, but they also provide a place to stretch your legs and Winnie needs a travel break too.
Today, we were able to see Bullwinkle the Moose, a bear but our photo is a bit blurry as we are traveling down the road.

You will also notice that Winnie enjoys napping as we go down the road and sometimes she smiles for a photo.

Just because we are “camping” or “glamping” does not mean we eat traditional camping foods. Judi and I are still eating healthy most of the time. We have a deal, I am the chef and she is the dishwasher (also the Princess Passenger along with Princess Winifred).

Judi takes most of our photos as we drive down the road. We have to clean up some of the bugs from the windshield but AI makes that so much easier in today’s world.
Stay tuned for more adventures…
