It is Day 30 of our adventure, and our 12th day with the caravan. We are traveling today from Chicken, AK to Tok, AK on the Taylor Highway. What was more exciting, is we go to travel on some paved roads! Did I call those paved? Well…. Yes some of them were paved, gravel, or a combination of the two. You have to watch for the frost heaves or you will go flying in the air as some people do on our trip.

You will notice in my pictures that we don’t have much exciting to share, just some pictures of the roadway with some mountains.

When we arrived in Tok, one of the fueling stations offered free RV washes with filling your tank. So we did just that, we filled the tank and got in line to wash a layer of mud from both Tatanka and the car. It took a long time. Then we helped another rig get washed along with others within our group that helped. Team work makes the dream work!
