Day 38 on our adventures is a travel day, also known as day 20 of our 48 day Alaska caravan. On this day, we travel from Denali to Anchorage, AK.
The weather is very dreary as it is raining. You will see our photos taken by Judi as we go down the road have raindrops on the windshield. We needed a clear day to go into a little town, called Telkeetna, along the way to allow us to see the top of Denali Mountain or some of you may have heard it called Mt McKinley. The mountain has changed names multiple times over the years which the most recent change to Mt McKinley as signed by Donald Trump. Legal battles continue to change the name back to the original name of Denali. Denali is the name given by the Athabaskan which means “the high one” or “the great one”.
During our rainy drive, we captured a few mountain scapes as well as a moose on the loose.
